Takoi is a modern Thai restaurant in Corktown known for Michigan seasonality, a DIY mentality, and local food production. Originally Katoi—a 2014 food truck that became an Ann Arbor pop-up, then a restaurant at 2520 Michigan Avenue in March 2016—Takoi operates HiO Farm about a mile north and highlights HiO produce in season using techniques inspired by regional Thai cuisines.
