More than 200 years ago, the land was originally the Thompson Homestead, bought by the Thompson family in the late 1700s/early 1800s when Maine was part of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. In 1912, Frank and Mary Welch bought the Homestead and began their family farm tradition. As Frank cleared the land, wild blueberries…
