People's Food Co-op (La Crosse) is a consumer-owned food co-op in La Crosse, Wisconsin, listed by National Co+op Grocers (NCG), the national association of retail food co-ops. People's Food Co-op was born from a buying club founded in 1973. Initially operating from a basement of a house, the club evolved into a small store.
